Aside from dinosaurs, animal fossils from other clades are another treasure of time that is no less interesting. We welcome you to the resting place of the past at this “130-million-year-old Shell Cemetery” at Phu Wiang National Park. These shell fossils are hypothesized to belong to the a family of oysters that used to live in brackish water. They ranged from late Jurassic period to early Cretaceous period, leaving behind only their fossilized shell as a remnant of their once abundant existence.
